Let me share with you the story of Banjo, my beloved fur baby, whose journey mirrors both resilience and challenges. In 2019, amidst our move from Arizona to Texas, Banjo encountered an unexpected adversary: severe allergies. What began as a smooth transition soon turned into a struggle as he developed skin issues, leading to significant hair loss. Determined to alleviate his discomfort, I embarked on a holistic healing journey. From adjusting his diet to crafting homemade laundry detergent for his bedding and toys, I left no stone unturned. Despite numerous attempts with allergy supplements and medicated shampoos, Banjo’s relentless itching and skin irritation persisted, leaving him uncomfortable and in need of relief. Ultimately, after seeking professional help from our local veterinarian, Banjo was diagnosed with environmental allergies and commenced on Cytopoint shots. While these shots provided temporary relief, they only served as a temporary fix, failing to address the root cause of his condition or facilitate hair regrowth.
